AUSTELL, Ga. -- A Six Flags Over Georgia icon will host its final production this weekend.

The Southern Star Amphitheatre has been part of the Cobb County theme park for decades. It will reportedly be torn down to make room for more attractions.

Six Flags said on its Facebook page that the amphitheater will hold Six Flags Celebration, a day-long Christian concert, this Saturday, Aug. 17. Six Flags Celebration features an impressive lineup of top contemporary Christian artists, including Casting Crowns, Jeremy Camp and Hawk Nelson.
