The Austell man was charged with murder, aggravated assault and firearm possession in the death of 24-year-old Kendra Weathers. He has since been extradited to Cobb County.

Weathers was found shot multiple times Tuesday morning in a breezeway at the Lake Crossing Apartments in the 1300 block of 6 Flags Drive. She was rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
