Three suspects sought in armed Austell drug store robbery

Police in Cobb County are looking for three suspects involved in the robbery of a drug store in Austell early Thursday morning.

The incident happened at a CVS Pharmacy at 800 East-West Connector around 2:30 a.m.

Police said that while two men held the employees at gunpoint, a third removed cash drawers from registers.

The suspects, who each wore ski masks partially concealing their faces, then fled the store on foot heading north on Hicks Road.

Officials report no injuries as a result of the incident.

Police have released basic descriptions of each suspect - all described as black males wearing black hooded sweatshirts, ski masks and black gloves.

The first was between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing, blue jeans, black sneakers and black gloves.

In addition to the ski mask, he was also armed with a black handgun.

The second suspect was between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall. He wore black pants and black sneakers while also carrying a black handgun.

The third suspect is described as 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall. He wore black paints and dark brown shoes.

Anyone with information can leave a tip anonymously and possibly receive a cash reward of up to $2,000 by contacting greater Atlanta Crime Stopers at 404-577-8477. Tipsters can also text CSA plus a tip to CRIMES (274637).
