Woman found dead in Powder Springs home identified | News
POWDER SPRINGS, Ga. -- Police in Powder Springs released the identity of a woman who was found unresponsive inside a home Monday morning.
Investigators were called to a residence on Misty Morn Way shortly before noon for a what police called a welfare check. While they were checking the perimeter of the house, officers saw the woman, 57-year-old Leovetta Taylor, unresponsive on the floor through a window.
A spokesman for Powder Springs police said officers forced entry into the home and pronounced Taylor dead. Police conducted a thorough search of the home and initial investigation results ruled out foul play.
The Taylor's body was turned over to the Cobb County medical examiner to rule a cause of death.
