AUSTELL, GA -- In observance of a nationwide "Random Acts of Kindness" movement, a popular restaurant is living up to its slogan of "Eat Great, Do Good."

Ted's Montana Grill (1850 East-West Connector, Austell, 30008) will treat a group of local senior citizens to lunch on Thursday, Feb. 23 at 12:30 p.m. This event will be made possible through the restaurant's partnership with Beacon Senior Care Services.

The residents of Emeritus at Spring Mountain in Marietta are looking forward to their lunch date, an event spearheaded by Denson Boyd, managing partner with Ted's, and Dennis Stamey with Beacon Senior Care Services.

Daddy-Daughter Date Night at Chick-fil-A

ATLANTA -- The 119 Atlanta-area Chick-fil-A restaurants will host a special Daddy-Daughter Date Night on Saturday, Feb. 5.

Fathers and daughters will be encouraged to spend the evening together, enjoying time in the restaurant and participating in activities.

"One of Chick-fil-A's goals is to promote community connections and enrich the lives of everyone we come in contact with," said Robin Lomax, Chick-fil-A area marketing director. "We understand the importance of father-daughter relationships and want to encourage Atlanta community members to take a break from busy schedules, enjoy their loved ones' company over a meal and celebrate the significant relationship in their lives."

Each Chick-fil-A will celebrate in its own way.

AUSTELL, GA -- Many seniors in assisted living homes depend on outside help to provide them with balanced meals.

Parkland Manor, an Austell apartment complex for independent seniors, does not have an on-site chef and therefore relies on the community to feed its residents.

Free Food in Exchange for Canned Goods at Chick-fil-A

AUSTELL, GA -- The Austell Chick-fil-A restaurant (3951 Austell Road, Austell, 30106) is giving away free food and/or beverages to customers who donate non-perishable food items.

This food drive will take place from 6:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 19 and Saturday, Nov. 20.

"Our Chick-fil-A team is looking forward to doing our part to help those in need during the holiday season," said restaurant operator Bob Fowle.
