Halloween is Spookier Than Ever at Fright Fest

AUSTELL, GA -- Don't miss out on the Southeast's largest Halloween party, as Fright Fest opens at Six Flags Over Georgia on Saturday, Oct. 2.

To kick off the festivities, Six Flags is partnering with the American Red Cross for a "Give Blood, Get Thrills" blood drive on Friday, Oct. 1 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Guests who donate blood will receive a buy one, get one free coupon valid during select days in October. To sign up, visit the Red Cross website and enter the promo code 6flags.

This year's Fright Fest will feature the Last Ride, back by popular demand from last season. This 4D simulated ride to the grave has proven to be a guest favorite.

Six Flags Salutes America's Armed Forces

AUSTELL, GA -- To honor the brave men and women serving our country, Six Flags Over Georgia (275 Riverside Parkway, Austell, 30168) will provide free admission to members of the U.S. Armed Forces on select days in September.

Activists and reservists simply need to present current military identification at the ticket booth on their branch's day in order to receive complimentary admission for themselves and up to two dependants.

The armed services days at Six Flags are:

* Sept. 18: Air Force
* Sept. 19: Navy and Coast Guard
* Sept. 25: Army
* Sept. 26: Marines

If additional passes are needed for friends and family of military personnel, they can be purchased for half off the main gate admission price.
