KENNESAW, Ga. -- The Cobb Alcohol Taskforce Youth Council recently performed its annual "Project Sticker Shock," which involves covering alcoholic beverages at local stores with stickers displaying a warning message about selling alcohol to minors.
Sticker Shock is one of several strategies the Youth Council uses to warn stores and customers of the consequences of purchasing alcohol for anyone younger than 21.
Participating Cobb County stores included Kennesaw's Big Shanty Superette, the BP on Austell Road in Austell, and two Texaco locations -- one on Powder Springs Road in Marietta, the other on Jiles Road in Kennesaw.
